Is not our God good; and isn't He faithful?

Yes, he is indeed good and very much faithful. He's described in the bible as "abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness." 

People often worry and stress about a myriad of different things, and one of the big ones is money. In the past couple of years, God has very clearly reassured us that he is and will take care of us. Recently, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary. We went up the mountains and enjoyed a few days resting, eating, and enjoying God's beautiful creation. During that time, there often came the quick, small thought of: "are we gonna have enough for the rest of the month?", "are we gonna be ok if we stay at this hotel and eat this food?." Granted, they were not extravagant accommodations or food and yet, those thoughts / worries would still come. After we returned home, I counted up the transactions / receipts to see the precise amount that we had spent. That very same evening, my wife informed me that a family member had just returned to us the money that we had lent them a few months earlier, and it was the same amount that we had spent! 

This wasn't the only time that happened. This has happened at least 3 times, that I can remember. One time, the money that we received was exactly, down the penny, what we had spent!

Each time this has happened, I can sense God tell me; don't worry, I am and will take care of you. 

Our God is faithful.
